Christmas and Hearing Loss

It's the start of a new month - the last one of 2017, and as always, the first Wednesday of the month brings with it #hearinglosshour.

We thought it would be fitting to discuss 'Christmas and hearing loss' - the potential communication difficulties at noisy gatherings, tips and strategies for overcoming those difficulties, and gifts and gadgets to make our lives a little easier.

Joining in

To get the most out of #hearinglosshour, we recommend logging into your Twitter account, then using the Twitter search tool. Then click on 'Latest' to see the latest live tweets .

Using Hashtags

Only tweets with the hashtag #hearinglosshour show up via the search, so make sure you include '#hearinglosshour' in every tweet (and not @hearinglosshour).

Live session

As always, the questions will be tweeted live during the hour. We're giving you a sneak preview here so that you can start thinking about your answers, and any questions you'd like to ask.

Please only answer the question after it's been live tweeted, and add A1, A2, A3 and A4 to your answers so everyone can follow the live Q&A discussion.

From me (Angie) and Phonak (sponsors of #HearingLossHour), we would like to thank you for your participation throughout the year and we would like to wish you a very happy Christmas.

We hope you'll join us again in 2018 for more discussions about living well with hearing loss.
